After a lifetime of "Who would win: Bruce Lee or Dan Gable?" arguments with his father, Scott Holmes became instantly hooked on MMA once UFC 1 proved the answer was Royce Gracie. A few years later he would cut his teeth by covering MMA with the early USWF events held back in his home state of Texas. After winning an essay writing contest in 2005, the Sherdog team welcomed him into the fold. Scott was Sherdog's beat writer for the International Fight League. He also regularly recaps "The Ultimate Fighter" for Sherdog.com and co-hosts MMA Sunday School on the Sherdog Radio Network.
Scott has worked and or appeared in radio, television and film for almost twenty years. He lives in Hollyweird and works in late night television which helps him keep a keen eye on MMA's rise in pop culture.
