“That was a good fight for us. That was his first fight. I [had] five fights before. It was good, but the referee made a little mistake and gave the fight to him. It was OK. That happens in the sport with decisions. After the fight, I took it like a joke. Months after, we started training together. He became better and better and better and then I realized this guy could be good. Now he is the UFC champion and he’s a legend.”
