Spike TV App to Include Memorable Bellator Bouts

Spike TV’s first-ever app includes a solid collection of Bellator MMA material.
The app, which launched today, is free and available for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. A version compatible with Android devices is expected to arrive soon, according to a Bellator official.

“The Spike app represents a huge step in our evolution into a network delivering broad-based original hit series to our viewers -- anywhere, anytime,” Spike TV President Kevin Kay stated in a release.
Some of Bellator’s most memorable fights will be available, including both meetings between Michael Chandler and Eddie Alvarez as well as Emanuel Newton’s spinning back-fist KO of Muhammed Lawal. Each week, the best fights from the most recent Bellator event will be added to the app.
