Dmitry Menshikov wants another crack at ONE lightweight muay thai champion Regian Eersel. The 26-year-old Russian aims to take a step in that direction when he scares off with Mouhcine Chafi in his latest assignment. Menshikov boasts an eye-catching 28-3 record with 20 stoppage wins on his resume. Menshikov last competed at ONE on Prime Video 14, where he evened his promotional record at 1-1 and rebounded from his 46-second knockout loss to Eersel by knocking down Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong three times on his way to a first-round TKO on Sept. 29. The 6-foot-2 Chafi, 26, operates out of the Internacional Gym in Spain. He lost a three-round unanimous decision to Sinsamut Klinmee in his Nov. 3 organizational debut at ONE on Prime Video 16.

Phenomenal Pursuits

True wunderkinds are rare in any line of work. At just 17 years of age, Johan Ghazali carries the look of a future champion ahead of his latest test—a flyweight clash opposite Edgar Tabares. The Malaysian prospect has already turned heads by winning his first four fights in One Championship, three of them inside the distance. Ghazali last fought at ONE Friday Fights 36, where he wrecked Temirlan Bekmurzaev with a left hook to the body less than three minutes into their Oct. 6 confrontation. Tabares, 29, figures to serve as his toughest test to date. The battle-hardened 29-year-old Mexican struck gold in the WBC prior to his arrival in ONE and fought flyweight muay thai champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon in his May 5 company debut.
