Johnson is no respecter of person. “Rumble” laid waste to the revered Nogueira in horrifying fashion, as he wiped out the Brazilian with a series of savage right uppercuts in the first round of their UFC on Fox 12 co-main event at the SAP Center. An announced crowd of 11,482 was on hand to witness the carnage, as the oft-injured Nogueira met his end 44 seconds into Round 1. Johnson was cold and calculated. He staggered Nogueira with a short right hand, followed him as he backpedaled to the cage and unleashed with power and precision. An uppercut snapped back the Pride Fighting Championships veteran’s head and left him vulnerable to Johnson’s follow-up attacks. “Rumble” then fired away with hooks and uppercuts until referee Herb Dean had seen enough.
