Karina Rodriguez and Daiana Torquato will face one another for the vacant flyweight title and the right to fill Porto’s shoes in the Invicta 44 main event on Friday at the Police Athletic League in Kansas City, Kansas. Operating out of the Lobo Gym camp in her native Mexico, Rodriguez has posted five wins across her past seven outings. She last appeared at Invicta 38, where she dropped a unanimous decision to the aforementioned Porto on Nov. 1, 2019. Torquato, meanwhile, enters the cage on the strength of an eight-fight winning streak. She last competed at a Respect MMA event in October, when she eked out a split decision over Sarah Frota.

As Rodriguez and Torquato make their final preparations, a look at some of the numbers that have accompanied them to this point:

35: Years of age for Rodriguez, who was born on Aug. 28, 1985 in Puebla, Mexico.

53: Combined victories between the four women who have defeated Rodriguez: Porto, DeAnna Bennett, Poliana Botelho and Alexa Grasso. They own a cumulative record of 53-23-1, which equates to a .689 winning percentage.
