Deiveson Figueiredo’s path to more widespread acclaim and recognition now runs through UFC 256, where he will defend his undisputed Ultimate Fighting Championship flyweight title against Brandon Moreno in the five-round main event on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Champion and challenger appeared at UFC 255 three weeks ago, as Figueiredo submitted Alex Perez with a guillotine choke and Moreno put away Brandon Royval with punches to set the stage for their showdown.

UFC 256 “Figueiredo vs. Moreno”—which streams live to ESPN+ pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT—also features a lightweight co-headliner matching Tony Ferguson with Charles Oliveira, a women’s strawweight affair pitting Mackenzie Dern against Virna Jandiroba, a middleweight tilt pairing Kevin Holland with Ronaldo Souza and a heavyweight battle slotting Junior dos Santos opposite Ciryl Gane.
