By Tristen Critchfield Sep 1, 2016

Dong Hyun Kim will face Gunnar Nelson in the UFC Fight Night (online betting) headliner when the promotion travels to Belfast, Ireland, on Nov. 19.

The welterweight matchup was announced on Thursday. UFC Fight Night takes place at the SSE Arena, which hosted the Las Vegas-based promotion’s first trip to Belfast for UFC 72 in 2007. Broadcast plans for the upcoming event were not revealed.

Kim, 34, has not competed this year but posted a 2-0 record in 2015, notching stoppage victories over Dominic Waters and Joshua Burkman. “Stun Gun” is 12-3 with one no contest in the Octagon overall, with notable triumphs over the likes of John Hathaway, Erick Silva, Nate Diaz, Matt Brown and T.J. Grant, to name a few.

Nelson has lost just twice in eight promotional appearances. The SBG Ireland representative scored a second-round submission victory over Albert Tumenov in his last outing at UFC Fight Night “Overeem vs. Arlovski” on May 8, his fifth triumph via tapout in the Octagon.
