A strawweight title tilt pitting reigning champion Joshua Pacio against Rene Catalan will headline One Championship “Masters of Fate” in Manila, Philippines on Nov. 8.

The promotion announced the event on Monday. One “Masters of Fate” takes place at Mall of Asia Arena and will see former lightweight king Eduard Folayang square off against Amarsanaa Tsogookhuu in the evening’s co-main event. The rest of the announced card, which includes several muay Thai bouts, can be viewed here.

After losing his belt to Yosuke Saruta in a split-decision defeat at One “Eternal Glory” on Jan. 19, Pacio rebounded to reclaim the crown with a fourth-round knockout triumph in a rematch at “Roots of Honor” on April 12. “The Passion” owns a 14-3 career mark that includes 12 victories inside the distance.

After going winless in his first three pro outings, Catalan will enter the matchup with Pacio on a six-bout winning streak. Most recently, the 40-year-old Philippines native earned a first-round technical knockout against Yoshitaka Naito at One “Reign of Valor” on March 8.
