Unbeaten Prospect Patrick Mix Gets Replacement Opponent at Bellator 232

Patrick Mix will remain on the Bellator 232 card, as Isaiah Chapman has stepped in to replace the injured Dominic Mazzotta.

The California-based promotion recently confirmed the new bantamweight pairing after MyMMANews first brought word of Mazzotta’s withdrawal. Bellator 232 takes place on Friday at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., and is headlined by the welterweight grand prix final matchup between Rory MacDonald and Douglas Lima.

Mix improved to 11-0 as a professional in his promotional debut, as he submitted Ricky Bandejas in the opening stanza at Bellator 222 on June 14. The King of the Cage veteran has finished eight of his career triumphs inside the distance.

Chapman will enter his Bellator debut on a three-bout winning streak. The 29-year-old Ohio native notably made one appearance in World Series of Fighting, where he dropped a unanimous verdict to Timur Valiev.
