Bryan Barberena: Why I Stepped Up on Late Notice at UFC 286

Bryan Barberena is looking to bounce back at UFC 286 as he faces Gunnar Nelson in a fan-friendly welterweight matchup. Barberena (18-9, 9-7 UFC) recently lost to former Ultimate Fighting Championship 155-pound kingpin Rafael dos Anjos due to a neck crank submission at UFC on ESPN 42. “Bam Bam” didn’t hesitate to step up and replace Daniel Rodriguez on short notice on March 18. During his media day obligations, Barberena delved into his motivations for this fight in addition to explaining why he was wearing dungarees.
