On Nov. 14, 2009, the Ultimate Fighting Championship was in Manchester, England, for UFC 105.

In the main event, Randy Couture took a decision victory over Brandon Vera in a hard- and -close-fought battle. In the co-main event, Dan Hardy decisioned Mike Swick and positioned himself as the Number One contender in the welterweight division. He would go on to challenge Georges St. Pierre for the welterweight title at UFC 111.

UFC 105 also featured Michael Bisping TKO’ing Denis Kang, Matt Brown TKO’ing James Wilks and Ross Pearson TKO’ing Aaron Riley.

On the prelims, Dennis Siver scored a highlight reel knockout over Paul Kelly.

The event was attended by 16,693 people.
