By The Numbers: Alexander Volkanovski

Alexander Volkanovski finds himself in familiar perch—head and shoulders above the rest of the Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight division.

The Australian superstar and future hall of famer reclaimed the undisputed 145-pound title with a five-round unanimous decision over Diego Lopes in the UFC 314 main event on April 12 at the Kaseya Center in Miami. Scores were 48-47, 49-46 and 49-46. Volkanovski held the featherweight championship previously from Dec. 14, 2019 to Feb. 17, 2024. At 1,526 days, it ranks as the second-longest single reign in the history of the division, behind only the great Jose Aldo (1,848).
