Santiago Ponzinibbio thrilled the home folks in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s inaugural visit to Argentina.

“Gente Boa” chopped at Neil Magny’s legs with vicious low kicks to immobilize his opponent before landing a crushing right hand to the jaw in the fourth round of their UFC Fight Night 140 headlining bout in Buenos Aires. The resounding knockout was Ponzinibbio’s seventh consecutive UFC triumph, but in a crowded pool of welterweights, the La Plata, Argentina, native stands pat at No. 10 in our latest poll. Perhaps reigning UFC champ Tyron Woodley said it best: “Take a number, bruh.”

Elsewhere, Phil Davis’ lengthy run in the light heavyweight Top 10 came to an unceremonious end in Tel Aviv, Israel, where he dropped a split-verdict to Russian prospect Vadim Nemkov at Bellator 209. “Mr. Wonderful” falls to the 205-pound bubble, settling in just behind the debuting Nemkov.

Meanwhile, former title challenger Ricardo Lamas makes his way back onto the featherweight bubble following a third-round stoppage of Darren Elkins at UFC Fight Night 140. There were also a few changes in the women’s featherweight Top 10, as newly-crowned Invicta champ Felicia Spencer leapfrogs Talita Nogueira to No. 6, while Olga Rubin makes her debut at No. 10 following a win over Cindy Dandois.
